I have been working with a capella vocal groups for over 30 years and grew up singing in choirs. 

I am a Natural Voice Practitioner and member of The Natural Voice Network - a network of people who work with voice and song, and who believe that singing is everyone’s birthright, regardless of musical experience or ability.

A relaxed, fun community choir very much like The Mudlarks but with it's own identity.

BREATHE SING - SINGING LEAD(2017-PRESENT) - Breathe Arts Health Research, Guys and St Thomas's Hospital, London -

 These singing groups are created specifically for adults suffering from COPD and other lung diseases. through a combination of excercises and different songs and singing techniques, these groups really help improve people's lung function and improve their feelings of well being and sense of being part of a community. https://breatheahr.org/breathe-sing/

MELODIES FOR MUMS - SINGING LEAD, COURSE CO-CREATOR AND TRAINER (2019-PRESENT) - Breathe Arts Health Research, Guys and St Thomas's Hospital London -

HACKNEY VOICES COMMUNITY CHOIR (2008-PRESENT) - In the heart of Hackney teaching world music and original arrangements of pop and soul tunes we perform in venues across the capital.

CREATIVE INCLUSION (2004-2008) -  Managed and taught a variety of exciting projects with young people and adults combining the mediums of poetry, art, musicianship and voice to produce original material in local communities.

MAKE SOME NOISE (2000-2004) - Creating music workshops for parents and toddlers in Jackson's Lane Community centre, Highgate and teaching singing and song writing skills to excluded children through the Children's Fund in London schools and play schemes.

I am a long term member of jazz/folk a capella group ANIMA. We perform in festivals, hospitals, art centres - you name it - around the country. www.animaacapella.com

I am also co-creator, member and manager of The Ondines - an all women indie-folk band playing original songs in gorgeous 4 part harmony. www.theondines.com

I love the connection and vitality of singing, arrange and sing BVS for various artists such as Owen Williams and The Calmers. In June 2021 I wrote and recorded an original piece for The Arbonaughts' site specific piece "SILT" performed by community cold swimmers on East Beach, Shoesburyness . I also run singing workshops and singing weekends in all sorts of lovely places and live in Westcliff On Sea.
